CHERRY BLOSSOM N CHOPSTICKS

 We have had such a good time celebrating the Chinese New Year. So far Zoey has used her fantastic fine motor skills to squish pink tissue for our cherry blossom tree, and to seperate her chopsticks. We wil be making Chinese Tea Eggs and working on a Dragon the rest of the week. Although Zoey is 16 months and may not understand the Chinese New Year concept, she is truly learning through her play and exploration with these activities.

Little Painted Hands

We had such a great time at the Santa Fe Children's Museum on Friday....                                     Z enjoyed the face paints!  She watched herself in the mirror, as she painted her hands and arms. She especially loved dipping the crayons in the "agua".
